ALIVE Active Shooter Survival Training

Please join The Nonprofit Partnership and David Kohl on Wednesday, August 28th from 10-11 a.m. for ALIVE Active Shooter Survival Training.
The A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival Training Program is designed to provide individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to survive an active shooter incident. Its emphasis on situational awareness and decision-making makes it a practical and effective approach to active shooter situations. By empowering individuals to take proactive measures to protect themselves and others, the program can help prevent tragedies and save lives. ALIVE instructors use 'in-seat' exercises to teach participants how to visualize an incident and respond before the adrenaline hits. This is all done in a controlled and safe manner with no shock and awe or scare tactics.
Learn how to recognize early warning situations with the people you encounter every day and situational awareness techniques for when you are out in public. Gain knowledge and prepare yourself with the correct balance of mindset and execution of the methodology of the A.L.I.V.E. steps when the situation turns for the worst.
Attendees will learn:
- The five steps of A.L.I.V.E. to help you survive an active shooter
- Learn case studies and examples of early warning indicators
- Experience "in-seat" exercises that you can repeat after the class
- Gain necessary proactive and situational awareness techniques
- Learn to balance mindset and methodology in preparation for a real-life situation
