A little more about Casie:

Casie Lucas-Szumigala is a wife, mother, speech language pathologist, certified social and emotional intelligence coach, and business owner of Click Pragmatics. Up until 2022, Casie had spent her entire career working in the non-profit sector addressing speech, language and communication disorders in children. Now she addresses "disordered" communication and relationships within organizations. Her background helps her address communication breakdowns through a behavioral lens. The good news is that behavior can change if we work at it!  And that's what she does. Through Click Pragmatics, Casie works with everyone from executives and managers to entry-level employees to navigate difficult conversations, gain control over verbal and nonverbal communication skills, and increase social and emotional awareness.  

An Erie native, Casie attended Clarion University for her Bachelor's degree, followed by Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. for her Master's in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences. Her husband is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran turned City of Erie Firefighter, and together they have 2 hilarious little boys who ensure that every moment of every day is full of excitement. Casie's mission is to help create teams that "click" through communicating better.
