Please join Ted Wood, President of Ted Wood & Associates, on Tuesday, July 25th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. for, “Are You Ready for a Capital Campaign?”

Adam Bratton, Executive Director with The Nonprofit Partnership and Jonathan Rilling, Vice President of Marketing, Advancement & Communications with Erie Homes for Children and Adults (EHCA) will also be available for input and questions.

A capital campaign is much more than an identified need matched with effective fundraising. A campaign is a consuming effort for an organization and must be given priority and resources in order to achieve success. This workshop will focus on “readiness.” We’ll discuss what it takes for an organization to be successful in a campaign effort from personnel (Board, CEO, staff) to the donor base to articulating the need. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from, and ask questions of, staff who have gone through a successful capital campaign and what was required of them.

The learning objectives for this session include:
-To understand the level of internal capacity that is necessary for an organization to run a successful capital campaign, including the readiness of your Board, CEO, and staff.
-To understand how your ability to communicate with your donor base and the effectiveness of your case for support will impact your campaign efforts.
-To hear from individuals who have successfully managed capital campaigns and the lessons learned from those processes.

This session is geared towards Board leadership, CEOs, and development staff.

The level of learning for this session is beginner to intermediate.

Registration is required for this event via the link below.
